Iptables e'il comando piu' importante per proteggersi in modo adeguato da qualsiasi tentativo di spoffing, attacchi DOS e altri ROOTKIT'S etc.. ricordiamo che esistono diversi tools per l'amministratore di sistema, ma IPTABLES essendo un comando SHELL e' molto piu' versatile e veloce, forse non e' cosi intuitivo come una GUI, ma sicuramente e' molto piu' complesso e raffinato nel trattare ogni tipo di connessione, redirezione di pacchetti TCP e UDP SSH AUTH etc, chiude le porte aperte e permette ad ogni utente della wan con NAT di raggiungere intenet senza essere visto in rete, in pratica nasconde gli IP della vostra sottorete! Non e' fantastico?
